Our Aims

The advancement of education including vocational training, especially to the unemployed and disadvantaged.  To develop the physical, mental and spiritual capacities and skills, in accordance with Christian principles, to enable people to achieve their full potential as individuals and members of society and thereby make a positive contribution within the community as a whole.

We seek to: Help anyone from 16 to 80+, in villages as well as towns, adapting our skills to needs of the individual and that of the areas we work in. Break some barriers to basic life and work that many of us have. share the hope of our Christian faith through teaching and personal living. Provide our service in Essex (UK) and Nicaragua (Central America)

ALL Feedback Welcomed
We are happy to receive feedback from clients, both positive and negative, as we try to improve our services.  A simple report form is provided at the end of a visit with clients for those who wish to complete it, sharing details of how they found their time with us.

On Going Support
Clients may also be contacted after their time with us to genuinely enquire how things are going and if further help or support would be beneficial.

Support Network
If Turnabout Trust, for any reason, is unable to provide the specific support or assistance a client requires we will try through our 'working together network' to refer people to a suitable provision.

Individuals not a number!
We see people as individuals not as statistical numbers.  Additionally we do not have statistical targets to reach, but rather wish to ensure that each client is helped in the best possible way for them.

Quality Standards
Turnabout is a charity with Compassion, Vision and Professionalism.  We are one of the few charities to gain Level 2 PQASSO Quality Standard.  The Trust is also working towards Matrix quality mark for Information, Advice and Guidance.
